Our Voice Overs In Spanish For Cisco

Here at Metro Audio and Video, we’re an international voice over agency that offers professional Spanish voice overs, translation, and localization solutions to clients across the globe.

Recently, Cisco was looking for an audio and video production company to narrate its Connection video in multiple languages. Specifically, they were seeking a European Spanish-speaking female voice actress with an energetic voice to lend her talent to the project.

To accomplish this, we held a Spanish casting call to identify a pool of potential voice actresses who could meet Cisco’s requirements. The company was looking for actresses who not only spoke European Spanish fluently but also had a similar pitch and timbre in their voices.

As you can see in the video above, the chosen Spanish voice over talent was able to deliver a performance that brought the Connection video to life!

FAQs About Our European Spanish Voice Overs

What countries speak European Spanish?

European Spanish is spoken in Spain, which is located in southwestern Europe. It is also spoken in the enclaves of Ceuta and Melilla, which are located in North Africa and are part of Spain. Additionally, European Spanish is an official language of the European Union and is recognized as a minority language in some parts of Italy, France, and Andorra. However, it is important to note that there are regional variations of the language within Spain, and different dialects and accents may be spoken in different parts of the country.

How is European Spanish different from Latin American Spanish?

European Spanish and Latin American Spanish are two distinct variations of the Spanish language, with differences in pronunciation, grammar, vocabulary, and even culture.

European Spanish is spoken in Spain and some parts of Africa and is considered the standard Spanish language. It is characterized by its pronunciation of the “th” sound (as in “think”) for the letter “c” and “z,” and the use of “vosotros” as the informal plural pronoun.

On the other hand, Latin American Spanish is spoken in the Americas and the Caribbean and has its own regional variations. It is known for its pronunciation of “s” and “c” before “e” and “i” (as in “centro” pronounced as “sentro”) and the use of “ustedes” as the informal plural pronoun.

Additionally, there are differences in vocabulary and grammar usage between the two variations, and cultural differences can also impact the way the language is spoken and used.

Is European Spanish the same as Castilian Spanish?

European Spanish and Castilian Spanish are often used interchangeably, but they are not exactly the same thing. Castilian Spanish is a dialect of the Spanish language spoken primarily in the Castile region of Spain, which includes the cities of Madrid and Toledo. It is the original and oldest form of the Spanish language and is considered the standard form of European Spanish.

European Spanish, on the other hand, is the variety of Spanish spoken throughout Europe, including Spain, and is sometimes used to refer to the standard language used in Spain as a whole. However, it is important to note that there are regional variations of the language within Spain, and different dialects and accents may be spoken in different parts of the country.

Can European Spanish dubbing be used for different countries that speak Spanish?

It’s not recommended to use European Spanish dubbing for a country that speaks Latin American Spanish. There are differences in pronunciation, grammar, vocabulary, and culture between European Spanish and Latin American Spanish, and some words or phrases may be understood differently or not used at all in some countries.
